Four bowlers qualify for state

WICHITA  – Western Athletic Conference Most Valuable bowlers Daegan Miller and 4-time state qualifier Zoey Mayberry headline Great Bend's four state bowling entries.

Panthers Brooklynn Mayberry and 2-time state qualifier Josh Mayberry also qualified for Thursday's 5A state bowling championship a Northrock Lanes.

Miller posted a 548 series (187-167-194) and Manning shot 584 (198-142-244) to qualify as individuals.

Zoey Mayberry shot 495 (167-168-160) well off her 200 WAC average. Brooklynn Mayberry shot 474 (170-161-143) to qualify.

Zoey Mayberry has placed sixth (591), 10th (576) and 13th (565) at the 5A state bowling championship. She's a 2-time state team champion.

Brooklynn Mayberry has placed 18th (544) and 51st (448) at 5A state while being a member of the 2024 state champion.
