LAWRENCE — Great Bend's sophomore sensation Decorah Schroeter earned seventh medalist honors (18:58.72) in Saturday's Rim Rock Classic girls cross country Gold Division featuring the state's top runners.

Wichita Kapaun Mt. Carmel's Ava Claassen (17:13.21) won the girls gold division race.

Great Bend's Brogan Lashley rounded into midseason form with a seventh-place medal (17:46.63) to lead the Panther boys.

Blue Valley Northwest's Jacob D'Souza (15:5053) won the boys gold division.
