SALINA — Great Bend's Ethan Somers (83) tied for 22nd place with a season-best score at Friday's Salina South Golf Invitational at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

The Panthers (352) placed ninth with a season-best score with 30th Nash Lindberg (87), 39th Ethan Somers (90) and 48th Cal Schartz (92) also counting.

Topeka Hayden (304) won the team title by 22 shots. Hays High's Tagen Rodriguez (72) earned medalist honors.
