Three Indians win events at Lakin

LAKIN — A trio of Larned track athletes earned a first-place and second-place finish at Friday's Lakin Track Invitational.

Hurdler Cara Herbert placed first in the 300-meter hurdles (48.48) and second in the 100-meter hurdles (15.56).

Cammy Upson won the shot put (35-8) and finished runner-up in the discus (102-2).

Lane Elam won the 300 hurdles (41.38) and finished runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles (15.93).

Larned's girls (46 points) placed seventh. The Indian boys (25.5 points) finished eighth.
