HUTCHINSON — Dr. Robert Thomas Morrison, age 95, died Feb. 22, 2026, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born Feb. 12, 1931, in Caldwell County, Mo., the son of Robert Paul Morrison and Alice Loretta (Webster) Morrison. He was educated at country schools until high school, when his parents moved to Hamilton, Mo., so that he and his siblings would have better educational opportunities. In his senior year at Hamilton High School, he was president of the student body, valedictorian, editor of the yearbook, member of an undefeated football team, and winner of the 440-yard dash in the conference track meet, establishing a school record.
