Mustangs outgun Bulldogs 50-44
MACKSVILLE 50, PRETTY PRAIRIE 44
PRETTY PRAIRIE — Macksville football coach Jeff Savage celebrated his debut with the Mustangs with a wild 50-44 victory over Pretty Prairie Friday.
Macksville outscored the Bulldogs 22-0 after trailing for a 50-36 lead. Sam Torres delivered the game's crucial play with a 41-yard fumble return when Bulldog Gunner Young lost the football.
Torres scored four touchdowns, on 3- and 32-yard runs and on a 11-yard reception from quarterback Brandon Franklin. Franklin scored on 23- and 40-yard runs. Kaleb Granger scored on a 20-yard run.
Bulldog quarterback Gunner Young completed a trio of touchdown passes and rushed for two scores.
Malachi Goering, Axel Stauffer, Collin Shippy and Emmett Harbaugh scored touchdowns.
