Great Bend Fire/EMS

May 6

EMS made three ambulance runs. Firefighters made one citizen assist and responded to one train fire near RR Ave. and McKinley at 11:55 a.m. The fire was out upon arrival.

May 7

EMS made eight ambulance runs. Two fires were reported. A small fire on a power pole/transformer on the 5800 block of Aspen at 10:16 a.m. Wheatland Electric was called. A small fire on the 200 block of Kiowa at 3:27 p.m.

May 6

A traffic arrest was made at 1:45 a.m. at 18th and Polk Streets.

A K-9 callout was utilized at 1:51 a.m. at 18th. and Polk Sts.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:18 a.m. at 10th St. and Harrison St.

A search warrant was executed at 9:18 a.m. at Somerset Apartments, 5824 16th St. Terr. Apt. 33.

A domestic incident was reported at 11:20 a.m. at 5926 Eisenhower Ave. Apt. 23.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:21 p.m. at 10th and McKinley Streets.

A domestic incident was reported at 2:37 p.m. at 1423 12th St.

A warrant arrest was executed at 10 p.m. at The Buckle, 1313 Main St.

A chase involving all units was reported at 11 p.m. at 22nd and Monroe Streets.

May 7

An injury crash was reported at 7:55 a.m. at 18th and Morphy Streets.

A battery was reported at 10:17 a.m.

A stalking incident was reported at 11:25 a.m.

A domestic incident was reported at 4:51 p.m. at 24th St. and Sunset Rd.

A domestic incident was reported at 5:53 p.m. at 2130 Pawnee Rd.

An injury crash was reported at 5:58 p.m. at 10th and Washington Streets.

An armed subject was reported at 9:10 p.m. at Buff Car Wash, 2312 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:47 p.m. 1200 block of Main St.

Barton County Sheriff

May 6

A K-9 callout was utilized at 1:29 a.m. near E. Broadway St. and S Walnut St., Hoisington.

A theft was reported at 8:28 a.m. at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Rd., Great Bend.

A fire involving grass, trash, vehicle or utility was reported at 11:56 a.m. near Railroad Ave. and McKinley St., Great Bend.

May 7

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:55 a.m. at Kansas Brick and Tile, 767 N. U.S. 281, Hoisington.

A fire involving grass, trash, vehicle or utility was reported at 3:29 p.m. at the Great Bend Wastewater Treatment Facility, 200 Kiowa Rd., Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 7:19 p.m. at 311 2nd St., Great Bend.

A warrant arrest was executed at 9:25 p.m. at 2203 29th St., Great Bend.

Michael Akins — Barton County District Court warrant for failure to appear.

Bobby D. Homeier — Interference with law enforcement, driving while suspended, no interlock device, battery on law enforcement, no tag lights and no insurance.
