WICHITA — Lori Ellen Roetzer, 55, died Sunday, April 26, 2026 at her home in Goddard, Kan.
She was born on Jan. 16, 1971 in Great Bend, Kan., the daughter of Gary and Margaret ‘Maggie’ Clift Pedigo. Lori was raised in Hoisington, Kan., where she graduated from high school and stayed to work for several years in the medical field.
Lori married Darin Roetzer on Nov. 20, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in Dodge City where she became a Dialysis Technician for Fresenius Medical Care and later in Wichita after she and Darin moved to the Wichita area in 2008.
Lori enjoyed camping and reading. She loved being around anything that involved water. The past few years she spent her time traveling and was able to visit loved ones on the east and west coasts.
Survivors include her husband Darin of the home; son Chandler Roetzer of Wichita; daughter Lizzy Roetzer of Louisa, Va.; grandchildren Charlotte Roetzer, Kendrick Roetzer, and C.J. Roetzer; brother Michael Pedigo of Winfield; niece and nephew Jocelynn Pedigo and Wyatt Pedigo; and close friends Nadine Jones, Robin Graves and Brecken Evans.
Lori was more than a wife, mom, aunt, and grandma. She was a steady presence, a safe place, and someone who loved deeply. She had a special way of making people feel comfortable, heard, and cared for, whether through quiet moments, shared laughter, or simply being there. Her love for her family and friends will continue to live on in the memories, traditions, and stories we carry forward.
It was Lori’s wishes that no services be held and her life be celebrated independently by those who knew and loved her.
