MOUNDRIDGE — Ellinwood (7-11) roughed up Moundridge's pitching for a 15-5 opening baseball victory. Moundridge (14-5) won the nightcap 21-9.

ELLINWOOD 15, MOUNDRIDGE 5 (G1) — Shea Hoskins drove home four runs and Trace Tudor batted home three runs in the Eagles' victory.

Noah Herrman and Bryce Williams each batted home two runs. Cade Coleman drove in one run.

The Eagles won by run-rule with a 6-run sixth inning. Banks Jacobs nd Hoskins delivered RBI hits. Alvin Bowyer scored on a bases-loaded walk. Williams singled home Hoskins and Coleman. Herrman scored on a wild pitch for a 15-5 win.

MOUNDRIDGE 21, ELLINWOOD 9 (G2) — Moundridge's J.D. Storer and Clay Wilson led a 21-run attack with four runs batted home. Atley Lichti and Cooper Schmidt each drove home three runs. Logan Greenwalt batted 4-for-4.

Ellinwood's Trace Tudor doubled and drove home three runs. Cade Coleman and Noah Herrman each drove in two runs.
