OTIS-BISON 65, MARAIS DES CYGNES 33

MELVERN — Otis-Bison quarterback Jake Hoopingarner and tailback Gavin Alloway each scored four rushing touchdowns to spark a shocking 65-33 victory over Marais Des Cygnes Valley in Friday's 6-man football playoffs.

Hoopingarner scored on runs on 3, 12, 17 and 24 yards. Alloway showed breakaway speed with touchdown runs of 2, 12, 40 and 44 yards to spark the Cougars. Aiden Ochs-Lohrey added the finishing touch with a 70-yard interception return and a 40-run touchdown run to end the scoring. The Cougars outscored Marais Des Cygnes 33-20 after halftime.

The Cougars (6-3) play at Cunningham (8-0) in the 6-man football quarterfinals. Landon Traver scored a trio of touchdowns for Marais Des Cygnes.
