Arnberger & Blew among Governor Kelly’s appointments

TOPEKA – Governor Laura Kelly announced 46 appointments to state boards, advisory groups, task forces, and commissions on Friday.

Sara Arnberger, Great Bend, was appointed to the State Historic Sites Board of Review. The board’s purpose is to review and recommend nominations to the National Register of Historic Places and the Register of Historic Kansas Places, and award preservation planning and rehabilitation grants.

Sen. Tory Blew, Great Bend, was appointed to the Governor’s Uniform Fire Code Task Force. The board’s purpose is to research and evaluate the processes utilized by other states for the development, review, adoption, and periodic updating of statewide fire prevention codes, and provide recommendations to the Governor and the 2027 Kansas Legislature regarding the establishment of long-term fire code adoption and review process for the State of Kansas.
