Over Labor Day Weekend Fort Larned National Historic Site will host a series of special events with the theme of “hands on history.” Throughout September 5, 6, and 7, park visitors are encouraged to participate in programs, exploring the tangible aspects of Fort Larned circa 1868 to experience its history on a deeper level.
