State Representative Sherri Brantley (R-Great Bend) has announced that she will seek reelection to the Kansas House, citing her record of strengthening public education, improving transparency, protecting agricultural producers, and advancing solutions for long-term property tax relief.

Brantley provided the following information:

A lifelong educator, Brantley has championed policies that support student success and responsible use of education dollars. She authored HB 2618, the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, which increases oversight of federal education funds, and supported HB 2413 to strengthen penalties for agricultural theft. Brantley also successfully added an amendment to make hay theft a felony—an important protection for Kansas producers.

Brantley continues to work closely with Barton County Commissioners as part of her commitment to developing sustainable solutions for property tax relief.

“I am running for reelection to continue working for real solutions to property tax relief, stronger schools, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars,” Brantley said. “Our communities deserve disciplined spending and policies that deliver results for Kansas families.”

A Great Bend resident, Brantley represents House District 112 and remains dedicated to being a voice for her constituents.
