The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Move Your Mountain Coaching and Consultation, invites community members to attend the July session of The Leader’s Lunchroom, a monthly leadership series designed to spark growth, connection, and courageous action.

The July gathering will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at the Great Bend Chamber Boardroom, located at 1125 Williams St.

This month’s topic, “Courageous Conversations: Leading with Honesty, Grace, and Clarity,” focuses on the idea that avoidance creates confusion, while courage creates trust. In this session, leaders will explore how to navigate difficult conversations with clarity, compassion, and confidence while strengthening relationships and building healthier team dynamics. Attendees will reflect on the conversations they may be avoiding, what makes those conversations feel risky, and how leading with honesty and grace can create greater understanding, accountability, and trust.

A featured coaching question for the session asks:

“What courageous conversation have you been avoiding — and what makes it feel risky?”

This session will be led by Kimberly Becker, CEO of Move Your Mountain Coaching, alongside Megan Barfield, President of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, offering attendees a dynamic and engaging hour of insight, conversation, and connection.

The session includes a leadership takeaway, guided discussion, and networking. Lunch will be provided for the first 25 attendees. Chamber membership not required.
