ELLINWOOD — Gregory Alan ‘Greg’ Hickel, 69, died June 9, 2026. Greg was born March 22, 1957, to Joseph and Helen (McPherson) Hickel.

He is survived by sisters, Diana (Paul) Zecha and Pam (Rich) Koester, all of Hoisington; brothers, Scott (Deb) Hickel of Denver, Colo., and Kevin (Angie) Hickel of Manhattan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

As per Greg’s wishes, a private family graveside service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ellinwood. Services were in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, Kan. Notices may be viewed and condolences sent at www.nicholsonrickefh.net.
