Verlin Joseph Schuster, 81, passed away Oct. 1, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita, Kan. He was born on Feb. 8, 1945, in Hays, Kan., to Frank P. and Mary (Flax) Schuster. On Oct. 12, 1970, he married Luella Urban in Antonino, Kan.
A longtime resident of Great Bend, Verlin worked as a machinist and supervisor at Great Bend Industries prior to his retirement. Verlin enjoyed spending time with his family. He was involved in scouting for his kids, to his most cherished time spent supporting his grandchildren in anything they were involved with.
