DODGE CITY — Ellinwood's Luke Heinz (84) captured medalist honors among Central Prairie League teams that competed In the combined CPL/Southern Plains Iroquois golf tournament Monday at Mariah Hills Golf Course.

Ellinwood counted scored by Austin Shinliver (91), Remi Thomas (92) and Austin Brack (93).

The Eagles birdied three holes -- Heinz No. 10, Shinliver No. 6 and Brack No. 8.

St. John's Weston Peterson (87) placed second among CPL players and Easton Alpers (88) placed third. Peterson birdied No. 12 and Alpers birdied No. 11.

Ellinwood competes at Monday's 2A Marion Country Club golf substate. St. John and Stafford compete at Stafford Country Club Monday.
