RUSSELL — Larned's Gavin Collins (86, 43-43) placed fourth at Thursday's Russell Golf Invitational in 58-degree weather with variable 5 to 15 mph winds.

Larned (361) finished third with fifth-place Brennon Stahlecker (87) and Calvin Keith (89) earning top 10 medals. Great Bend's Noah Kaiser (89) tied Keith for seventh place.

Carding birdies were Collins at No. 17; Great Bend's Spencer Brown at No. 15; and Great Bend's Keegan Roblyer at No. 4.

Russell's Jake Mooney (73, 37-36) earned medalist honors with birdies at Nos. 1, 4, 9 and 13.
