The Central Plains boys tennis team won Monday's home meet.

CLAFLIN — Central Plains' No. 1 doubles Peyton Dody/Alden Metro and No. 2 doubles Richard Hayes/Scott Lamatsch placed first at Monday's Claflin Quad Tennis Tournament.

The Oilers (23) edged Sterling (18) for first place.

In title matches,Dody/Metro defeated Ellsworth's Seth Kyler/Ismael De La Cruz, 8-2; and Hayes/Lamatsch downed Ellsworth's Drew Davis/Guage Weder, 8-5.

Sterling's No. 1 singles Jace Darnauer downed Oiler Camden Stiles 8-2 for first place.

Oiler No. 2 singles Cale Thompson defeated Meade's Elias Strickland, 8-0 for third place.
