Service through Grace: Church offers pantry supplies

Macksville Grace Church is committed to serving their community. Thanks to a $2,000 grant from the South Central Community Foundation, MGC has been able to reach many in need through their Food and Necessities Pantry at the church and Necessities Nook located at the Macksville City Library.

Grant funds were used to purchase healthy food items for recipients’ shelves and freezers, as well as basic necessities, such as toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent, bug spray, etc. Funds also helped provide 14 Boxes of Blessings for the holidays, a time when school children do not have access to school lunches. This year the Christmas boxes reached 14 families, 33 adults and 43 children.
