RUSSELL — Defending 2A state champion Ellinwood cruised past Russell, 25-13, 25-10, 25-10 Thursday to extend the Eagles' school record winning streak to 60 matches.

Russell has won six of eight matches entering Thursday's showdown.

LARNED — Larned's volleyball team (3-9) showed progress with a hard-fought 25-20, 25-22, 25-12 over Macksville (5-7) Thursday.
