JOPLIN, Mo. — Great Bend sophomore Decorah Schroeter (18:17.66) continues to compete at a higher level with a fourth-place finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede cross country meet. The Panthers (556 points) finished 18th.

Wichita Kapaun Mt. Carmel's Ava Claassen (17:17.7) earned medalist honors in a meet filled with all-state runners. Manhattan (86) won the team title in the 45-team field with 387 varsity runners.

Panther Brogan Lashley (17:03.81) finished 61st. The Panther boys (654 points) placed 21st.

Springfield, Kickapoo, Mo. (113) won the team title in the 52-team field with 654 varsity runners.
