LAKE WILSON — An investigation has begun into a fatal vehicle accident occurring Saturday morning at Wilson Lake.

Although information is limited at this time, State Park Manager Willis Ohl confirmed Monday morning that an individual had died as a result of a vehicle accident at the lake at approximately 9:30–9:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

Russell County Sheriff Andrew VanDerWege also confirmed Monday that the investigation was being conducted through the Pratt office of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. More information will be released as it becomes available.
