Otis-Bison Cougars play in 6-man game

ALAMOSA, Colo. — Otis-Bison football coach Marc Cowles and Cougar standouts Gavin Alloway and Kelson Juno participated when the Kansas 6-Man Football All-Stars headed to Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo. June 6, to showcase the state's top talent against Colorado's best.

Gavin Alloway is the son of Dustin and Lynee Alloway. Kelson Juno is the son of Eric and Stephanee Juno.

Kansas players competed from Cunningham, Ingalls, South Barber, Northern Valley, Golden Plains, Weskan, Tescott, and Marais des Cygnes.

Kansas coaches joining Cowles were Weskan's Brett Clow, Tescott's Daymon Walker and South Barber's Matt Cantrell.

A fast-paced jamboree format showcased Kansas against the Colorado North All-Stars for two quarters and Kansas against the Colorado South All-Stars for two quarters.

Kansas won a thrilling 16-8 overtime victory against Colorado North before dropping a hard-fought 16-6 battle to Colorado South.
