WICHITA — Barton Cougar Kyle Walker scored the game-tying run as the Junction City Brigade rallied past the Seattle Cheney Studs 10-9 in Thursday's NBC World Series quarterfinal.

Cade Ortner's single scored Walker and Chad Pantuso capped a 4-run eighth inning for a 10-9 lead.

First-team Region 6 and Jayhawk West Walker drove in three runs with three hits.

Jayhawk Collegiate champion Junction City (28-9) plays 8-time NBC champion Santa Barbara, Calif. in Friday's semifinal showdown.
